Call for Under 18 Zone Coaches

 

BC Netball is seeking applications for coaches to coach teams participating in the Under 18 Zone Championships in Barriere from April 10-12 2015.
Qualifications:

Level 2 Netball Canada Coaching Certification

Experience coaching at High School, Youth League and/or club level
Duties and responsibilities:

· Communicate dates and location of tryouts to schools and teams in the Zone

· Run selection camps

· Select 10 athletes to represent the Zone

· Collect trialing and athlete fees

· Run weekly practices

· Act as chaperone for the athletes throughout the entire tournament

· Stay with the team in appointed accommodation

· Accompany the Zone team on BC Netball transport to and from the Tournament

· Ensure registration and medical forms are completed and returned to the Provincial advisor

· Communicate Expectations and submit Expectation forms to the Provincial advisor

· Meet all deadlines for forms and collection of fees

· Return all equipment in good order within 2 weeks of the tournament being held
