The inaugural Whistler Summer Netball Tournament is to be held over the weekend of Sept 27-28, 2014.

The tournament will be held on Saturday 27th with a 9am start at Spruce Grove Park in Whistler. We have 2 brand new outdoor courts which will be christened for the tournament. And, thanks to Gibbons Life, we will have a food concession onsite as well as (fingers crossed) a beer garden! Registration includes a BBQ dinner afterwards at the Longhorn in Whistler Village.

Teams can be mixed, with a maximum of 3 men on court at any time. Register as a team, or as individuals (to be assigned a team). Each team will need to provide an umpire when they are not playing.

Finally, we have partnered with some of Whistler’s awesome local businesses to offer you a great weekend getaway – with great deals on accommodation from the boutique Aava Whistler Hotel, as well as a number of activities, including The Adventure Group’s zip-lining, ATV tours, white water rafting, and Whistler Eco-Tours canoe/kayak bike & SUP rentals, or just some good old spa luxury from Scandinave Spa! Plenty to do over the weekend, even for those not playing.

Only thing is, we are limited to the number of teams. I’ve had a lot of interest from many of you, so I will need to accept team registrations based on those first in with team details and payment.
