High performance is when an athlete is given the netball skills and opportunity to develop and achieve their ultimate potential.

The purpose of the high performance program (HPP) is to deliver a comprehensive program that inspires BC athletes to achieve their full potential. The program provides players with the best possible coaching in all aspects of their development. We offer competitive programs for U16, U18, U23 and Open divisions with opportunities to be selected for provincial team or national team.

Athlete Pathway.

We offer competitive programs for U16, U18, U23 and Open women’s and men’s divisions with opportunities to be selected for provincial team and national teams. Identifying talent, knowing the athlete’s potential and what is required to be high performance athlete is fundamental to our player development program. Our program is flexible for athlete movement to ensure a place for athletes in the program whether they be early or late entry into the game. We follow a structured approach to select team members as per the selectors manual. A player profile will be developed for each player to help:

  • Better understand the athletes
  • Better understand the development needs of the athletes
  • Design a player – centered approach for development
  • Identify and address the gaps in high performance coaching and program
