The umpiring system in British Columbia is part of the Netball Canada program.

The training and testing of umpires is organized and administered by the BCNA Umpiring Director through various clinics.

There are 3 Provincial standards:
• Beginner level
• Intermediate level
• Advanced level

Each standard requires a candidate to successfully complete a written and practice test.
